I saw some crazily funny commercials here and there online and decided to open a couple of posts just for them. After all, fun is a great emotional button to push when you want your ad to stand out, to be remembered and to be talked about. If you’re looking for crazy, funny ideas for your ads, commercial or marketing campaign, hopefully this video and the ones coming up can give you some idea and inspiration. If not, the video is still helpful: it’ll give you a good laugh.
Fight For Kisses
At first, I planned to post this commercial just to make it a little more fun, especially after the new year. However, after that I felt the need to add some critical thoughts about the commercial because I don’t want to create the impression that everything about it was excellent.
The commercial was good and funny, but it may not be as good from the marketing perspective. Here’s why:
- The commercial is pretty long but doesn’t say loud and clear about THE VIDEO GAME; in fact, it made me think that they’re trying to advertise for Quattro – the razor.
- Since it was so funny, I visited the main website at www.ffk-wilkinson.com/intl/ to check it out and with Cable connection, it took more than a minute for the trailer to download. What a wait and also a waste of users’ time. Not sure how many people can wait that long on the site.
To continue my idea in the intro above, yeah, fun in particular or emotion in general can be a great button to push; however, to be effective and efficient, you should know how to push it properly. Making people laugh alone is not synonymous with making great money/profit unless you’re a comedian .
