At school I’ve heard SWOT is outdated, but personally I think it’s good, regardless of whether you’re doing it for you website or your business in general.

SWOT is good. Maybe a bit time consuming at first, but after that you have a system, and only need to update info.

It’s actually a good idea to do a SWOT for your website. We’ve never done a full blown one, just some sort of overall discussion. But SWOT is indeed a good start.
